Turnbuckles are used for adjusting tension in ropes, cables, tie rods and other tensioning systems, as well as for pulling together and pushing apart anchor points. Heavy duty rigging turnbuckles consist of two threaded bolts, each screwed into the ends of a metal frame. ... the figure-Eight follow through [is] actually the exact same knot as the figure-eight on a loop, except for how you tie it. Instead of tying it with a loop, you first tie a figure eight into the rope and then run the end through your harness and then you "follow-through" to complete the knot.

Rack and pinion is the simplest form of steering. The small pinion gear on the end of the steering shaft(the driving gear) meshes with the rack(the driven gear), a long bar with teeth cut into one side. The rack runs across the car, and its ends are connected to the tie rods.

In the bagging operation the bag is opened up with a stream of air passing into it, while simultaneously being pulled over the slices. This movement is extremely rapid. As the wrapped product moves away from the wrapper or bagger the open end is caught by the tie and a seal achieved.
