Obs. : L’adjectif pertinent ne peut se construire avec un complément d’objet indirect, contrairement à son équivalent anglais relevant, qui se construit souvent avec to. Ainsi, la construction faits pertinents au litige, calque de l’anglais facts relevant to the issue, est incorrecte. Il faut dire plutôt : faits connexes ou faits pertinents en l’espèce, faits pertinents dans la cause.
