The most recent development with electronic flash units was born of a marriage of electronics between the camera and flash unit. They are known as "dedicated" or "electronically matched. "When used with cameras having the proper circuitry, they can set the camera's shutter to its correct synchronization speed(and surrender control back to the camera while recycling), activate ready-light indicators and confidence lights in the viewfinder, and, in some cases, set the camera to the appropriate f-number. 2, record 16, English, - dedicated
