Sensor-based ore sorting relies on the basic principle that different minerals have different densities, shapes, and electromagnetic properties and these differences can be used to separate them from each other. The sensors are mounted on conveyor belts or chutes and as ore passes by, they emit a signal that is analysed by a computer to determine the composition of the ore. Based on this, a mechanical sorting system separates the ore into different streams. 2, record 1, English, - sensor%2Dbased%20ore%20sorting

1, record 1, French, - triage%20de%20minerai%20par%20capteurs

North American(country/cowboy) yodelers are much more famous than their Euro-versions, not because they’re better but because publicity pushes their image. Swiss yodelers are sometimes famous, but only as a result of reputation.... It points out a different relationship between singer and song, yodeler and yodel. The American star machine emphasizes the(yodel) song as a vehicle to one's success... In other cultures(Pygmy and Swiss, for instance), the yodeler is sometimes a conduit through which the spirit of the yodel passes, anonymously. The yodel—its beauty and vigor—subsumes individual ego, in effect echoing the topographical and psycho-acoustical effects of a yodel echoing through a valley. 3, record 3, English, - yodeller

The Besselian elements are a series of time-dependent variables used to calculate various aspects of a solar eclipse. They describe the movement of the Moon's shadow with respect to the fundamental plane. This plane passes through the center of Earth and is oriented perpendicular to the Moon's shadow axis. Next, the shadow cone is projected onto Earth's surface including the effects of Earth's rotation, the flattening of Earth and the latitude, longitude and elevation of the observer. The local circumstances at the observer's position can then be calculated including the eclipse contact times, eclipse magnitude and the duration of totality(or annularity). 2, record 11, English, - Besselian%20element

A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. People viewing the eclipse from locations where the Moon's shadow completely covers the Sun – known as the path of totality – will experience a total solar eclipse. The sky will become dark, as if it were dawn or dusk. Weather permitting, people along the path of totality will see the Sun's corona, or outer atmosphere, which is usually obscured by the bright face of the Sun. 3, record 14, English, - path%20of%20totality

Conventional tillage incorporates or buries most of the crop residue into the soil. Typically this approach involves multiple passes in fields. In mammalian lungs, inhaled air passes along bronchioles(tubes) to alveoli(dead-end sacks) where oxygen is absorbed. Exhaled air reverses back along these tubes in what is called a tidal fashion. The lungs of birds are very different. They lack the alveoli and instead the bird lung is composed of a network of very thin tubes termed parabronchi(the bird lung is often therefore referred to as a parabronchial lung), each of which divides into very many thinner capillaries where gaseous exchange takes place. 1, record 59, English, - parabronchus

In a communication system, the end-to-end delay of a packet may be defined as the time from its generation at the source to when the packet reaches its destination. In a packet-switched communication system, the delay for packets to travel from source to destination may vary depending upon various operating conditions, including but not limited to, channel conditions and network loading. Channel conditions refer to the quality of the wireless link. Some factors determining the quality of the wireless link are signal strength, speed of a mobile and/or physical obstructions. The end-to-end delay includes the delays introduced in the network and the various elements through which the packet passes. Many factors contribute to end-to-end delay. Variance in the end-to-end delay is referred to as jitter. 3, record 76, English, - end%2Dto%2Dend%20delay

The tobacco moth feeds on a variety of stored products including almost all grains, many ground cereal products, tobacco, chocolate, spices, etc. This species is often associated with the Indian-meal moth, causing similar damage. The larvae differ in that on the tobacco moth the body hairs arise from the centre of small blackish-brown spots. These spots are absent on Indian-meal moth larvae. 2, record 99, English, - tobacco%20moth

The adult tobacco moth is a small, grey or brownish-grey moth with a wing-spread of about 1. 4 centimetres. The female lays about 200 eggs, either singly or in small groups. The larvae are dull creamy white and about 1. 2 centimetres in length when mature. The tobacco moth passes the winter as a larva, hibernating in a loose cocoon in cracks and crevices in buildings. Pupation occurs in late spring and the adults mate and lay eggs shortly after emergence. The webbing spun by the larvae is lighter than that of the Indian-meal moth. 2, record 99, English, - tobacco%20moth

2, record 99, French, - pyrale%20du%20tabac

A method, system/device, and computer program product provide a conversational agent to process natural language queries expressed by a user and perform commands according to the derived intention of the user. A natural language processing(NLP) engine derives intent using conditional random fields to identify a domain and at least one task embodied in the query. The NLP may further identify one or more subdomains, and one or more entities related to the identified command. A template system creates a data structure for information relevant to the derived intent and passes a template to a services manager for interfacing with one or more services capable of accomplishing the task. A dialogue manager may elicit more entities from the user if required by the services manager and otherwise engage in conversation with the user. In one embodiment, the conversational agent allows a user to engage in multiple conversations simultaneously. 1, record 100, English, - conversational%20agent
