Since 1982 the Hurons who still practice hunting, trapping and fishing activities belong to the Association of Huron Hunters, Trappers and Fishermen. Depuis 1982, les Hurons, qui pratiquent toujours la chasse, la piégeage et la pêche, font partie de l'Association des chasseurs, trappeurs et pêcheurs hurons.
