[...] dans les bulletins de prévision du risque d'avalanche [...], il est d'usage de différencier les avalanches accidentelles des avalanches naturelles. Dans ce cadre-là, on nomme avalanche accidentelle une avalanche provoquée par une intervention extérieure (passage de skieur(s), d'animaux, chute de rochers, de sérac, explosion, détonation...) qui va ébranler le manteau neigeux en limite de stabilité. [...] Inversement, on parle d'avalanche naturelle si elle part d'elle-même. Il y a alors rupture due à une instabilité du manteau neigeux. [...] Ainsi, il ne faut pas confondre avalanche accidentelle (au sens précédemment donné) et avalanche occasionnant un accident (personnes entraînées, dégâts matériels...) ou bien avalanche fortuite. On peut ainsi classer les avalanches en fonction de la cause de leur départ : - évolution interne du manteau neigeux [...] : avalanche spontanée; - surcharge «non humaine». Une avalanche accidentelle est une avalanche causée par une intervention extérieure. Là où l'opinion des auteurs diffèrent est la nature de l'intervention. Pour certains, seul l'aspect involontaire est à considérer (surcharge d'origine humaine ou animale). D'autres incluent l'aspect volontaire (déclenchement à l'explosif). Quand aux avalanches provoquées par la chute involontaire d'une corniche ou de rochers, certains les classent dans les avalanches naturelles (déclenchement causé par un phénomène naturel) et d'autres dans les avalanches accidentelles (déclenchement causé par un facteur extérieur). 5, record 1, French, - avalanche%20accidentelle
