A gas burner in which the gas and air are mixed before they are introduced into the combustion chamber. Usually, the gas and air are both fed into a fan or blower, and the mixture is then blown into the combustion chamber. A premix burner burns with a short, hot flame with high heat release. Examples are Mechanical-premix, Fanmix, and Zero-Governor Burners. 4, record 1, English, - premix%20burner

In a premix burner, gas and primary air are mixed together, and the mixture is then introduced into secondary air in the combustion zone. 5, record 1, English, - premix%20burner

4, record 1, French, - br%C3%BBleur%20%C3%A0%20pr%C3%A9m%C3%A9lange

[In flame spectroscopy], a burner in which fuel and oxidant are thoroughly mixed inside the burner housing before they leave the burner ports and enter the primary-combustion or inner zone of the flame. This type of burner usually produces an approximately laminar flame, and is commonly combined with a separate unit for nebulizing the sample. 1, record 2, English, - premix%20burner
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The second type of burner, used in most commercial instruments, is the premix chamber burner, sometimes called the laminar-flow burner. ... The fuel and support gases are mixed in a chamber before they enter the burner head (through a slot) where they combust. The sample solution is again aspirated through a capillary by the "Venturi effect" using the support gas for the aspiration. Large droplets of the sample condense and drain out of the chamber. The remaining fine droplets mix with the gases and enter the flame. As much as 90% of the droplets condense out, leaving only 10% to enter the flame. 2, record 2, English, - premix%20burner

1, record 2, French, - br%C3%BBleur%20%C3%A0%20m%C3%A9lange%20pr%C3%A9alable
