OBS

The Office for Partnerships for Advanced Skills involves the Ontario government, universities, Human Resources Development Canada, and private sector partners collaborating to meet industry needs for the continuous upgrading of employee skills and knowledge. The Office will help universities to become more aware of industry training requirements, and will promote the use of leading-edge technologies for training delivery. Current initiatives include the development of modular training packages for several high tech companies and a research project to determine which types of learners benefits from particular technologies.

Le Bureau des partenariats pour les compétences de pointe engage la participation du gouvernement de l'Ontario, des universités, de Développement des ressources humaines Canada et de partenaires du secteur privé, qui unissent leurs efforts pour remplir les besoins de l'industrie en matière de perfectionnement continu des compétences et des connaissances des employés. Il permettra aux universités d'approfondir leur compréhension des besoins de formation de l'industrie et encouragera l'utilisation de la technologie de pointe dans la prestation des programmes de formation. Ses projets actuels comprennent l'élaboration de trousses de formation modulaires à l'intention de plusieurs entreprises de haute technologie et un projet de recherche qui établira quels genres d'apprenants bénéficient de technologies particulières.
