In the Keno Hill-Galena Hill district, Boyle (1965) reported little, if any, alteration where the veins are contained in quartzitic host rocks but, in greenstones, alteration consists of carbonate sericite and carbonate chlorite close to the vein(s) but grading outward into small veinlets of sulphides and siderite.
