Copolymers of vinyl chloride. In 1928, chemists in the USA and in Germany produced copolymers of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate which were more flexible and more readily processed than the homopolymers. The American product developed by Reid was called Vinylite and letters were used to designate the composition. For example, Vinylite VYNW and VYHH contain 3% and 13% of vinyl acetate, respectively. 2, record 1, English, - vinyl%20acetate%2Fvinyl%20chloride%20copolymer

4, record 1, French, - copolym%C3%A8re%20d%27ac%C3%A9tate%20de%20vinyle%2Fchlorure%20de%20vinyle
