The role of country reviews is to provide an explanatory analysis of the current policy mixes in place in all countries and detect the most important areas of interactions between instruments as well as new modes of policy governance that are particularly adapted (or detrimental) for the building of policy mixes.

Pour chaque examen par pays, l'OCDE [Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques] analysera les points forts et les faiblesses des politiques et pratiques en vigueur et recensera les déficits importants éventuels, en s'aidant des outils d'analyse mis au point pendant la phase d'analyse comparative. Chaque examen comportera une mission dans le pays pour observer le système en place et rencontrer les parties prenantes.
