pass reception. The receiver has his head up, watching the puck and his stick flat on the ice as a target. As the puck reaches the stick blade, the blade is cupped over to cradle the puck, and the blade is allowed to "give" a little by relaxing the wrists.

réception de la passe. Le joueur qui reçoit la passe a la tête haute, observe la rondelle et son bâton est posé à plat sur la glace pour servir de cible. Au moment où la rondelle touche la lame du bâton, celle-ci est inclinée de façon à contrôler la rondelle et le joueur fait reculer légèrement la lame en relâchant les muscles des poignets.
