Thermal Management. A moderate-temperature water loop is provided via a 1. 3 cm(0. 5 in) line with a quick-disconnect to each ISPR [International Standard Payload Rack] at an inlet temperature range of 16-24°C(61-75°F). The water is circulated through heat exchangers and stainless steel cold plates to allow thermal conditioning of the internal payload hardware. The water flow is controlled within the U. S. Lab and the JEM [Japanese Experiment Module] to optimize the heat rejection efficiencies of the system. The maximum return water temperature is 49°C(120°F). Inside a payload rack, an avionics air/heat exchanger assembly can be connected to the loop to remove up to 1200 W by circulating air. 2, record 1, English, - moderate%2Dtemperature%20water%20loop

Warm-air heating system that depends on the difference in density between warm and cold air for the circulation of air throughout the system. 1, record 2, English, - gravity%20warm%2Dair%20heating%20system
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Early warm-air systems delivered air to and from rooms by gravity circulation in large ducts connected to the furnace in the basement. Since the only force producing circulation was that due to the small difference in density between the hot supply air and the cold return air, a satisfactory volume of air could be moved only by providing very large air ducts and registers and heating the air to a high temperature. The result was a very bulky system that produced hot air at the ceiling and cold air on the floor. 3, record 2, English, - gravity%20warm%2Dair%20heating%20system

1, record 2, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20de%20chauffage%20%C3%A0%20air%20chaud%20par%20gravit%C3%A9

The return piping that carries the condensate accumulation back to the boiler and is installed below the level of the boiler water line is called a wet return. It is completely filled with water and does not carry air or steam. When the system is first filled with water or is cold, the pressure throughout the system is the same, or balances. Therefore, the water is at the same level in the boiler and drip connection as indicated by the boiler water line. 1, record 3, English, - wet%20return

4, record 3, French, - retour%20humide
