Elections Prince Edward Island is an independent, non-partisan office of the Prince Edward Island Legislative Assembly. Elections P. E. I. 's mandate is to manage and oversee all aspects of the electoral process in Prince Edward Island with fairness and impartiality. Conduct provincial elections, by-elections, municipal and school trustee elections and plebiscites, promote public awareness of the electoral process, ensure eligible electors have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, enforce compliance with provincial acts pertaining to elections, publish reports and recommend amendments to existing legislation.
