Works are listed by the artist's family name and in the few cases of artists known only by a first name, such as "Bartolomeo Veneto, "we have retained the name "Bartolomeo" rather than the qualifier. In the few cases of nicknames that have gained universal currency, such as "Clodion" or "Cigoli, "we have kept the commonly used nickname. Works of anonymous artists who in modern times have been given names such as "Master of the Marble Madonnas" or "Master of the Medici Chapel Altarpiece" are to be found under "Master" at the letter "M". Anonymous works have been grouped under "Unknown" followed by the school or country of origin of the artist. For easier access, copies after known works or works attributed to the school or following of an artist have been grouped under the name of the original artist. Equally, to facilitate research, when a work has changed attribution we have included the old attribution. 1, record 24, English, - Master%20of%20the%20Medici%20Chapel%20Altarpiece

1, record 24, French, - Ma%C3%AEtre%20du%20retable%20de%20la%20chapelle%20Medicis

Marble Slurry. A New Building Material.... Marble slurry is generated as a by-product during cutting of marble.... While marble blocks are cut by gang saws, water is used as a coolant. The blade thickness of the saws is about 5 mm and normally the blocks are cut in 20 mm thick sheets. Therefore, out of every 25 mm thickness of marble block, 5 mm are converted into powder while cutting. This powder flows along with the water as marble slurry. 4, record 86, English, - marble%20slurry

Marble spleen disease(MDS) of pheasants is caused by a virus. The virus is closely related to the virus which causes hemorrhagic enteritis(HE) of turkeys. The virus may remain in contaminated litter for extended periods of time. Pheasants infected with the MSD virus may become more susceptible to other diseases such as colibacillosis(E. coli infections) and coccidiosis because the virus of MSD can interfere with the development of normal immunity. This disease has not been observed in wild(non-captive) pheasants. 2, record 92, English, - marble%20spleen%20disease%20of%20pheasants
