The idea is to compute the consensus ranking and then plot each of the assessors’ ranks against the consensus... Here, only a short overview is given as follows : 1. Identify the product ranking for each assessor and define a consensus ranking for the panel. A good approach to achieve a consensus ranking is to perform a principal component analysis on the matrix of all assessor ranks using assessors as variables. The scores of the first principal component are then ranked to give the consensus. 2. For every assessor, calculate the cumulative ranks in the consensus order and subtract the cumulative rank for an hypothetic assessor who ranks all products the same. 3. The cumulative rank difference can then be plotted to give one curve for every assessor against the consensus. 3, record 32, English, - eggshell%20plot

sun-run-sun: So we now know how to get a single position line from a single sun sight. But we need at least two position lines to get an actual position fix, or position estimate. But there is only one sun, so we have to wait for the sun to move to take another sun sight and get another position line. Ideally, we would take a sun sight in the morning and obtain a position line, and take another sight in the afternoon for a second position line. This will result in two almost perpendicular lines, which will give us the most reliable fix with two lines (the closer the lines are to [being] perpendicular, the less susceptible their crossing point is to error). 3, record 38, English, - sun%2Drun%2Dsun%20method

The variability of the natural pedo-geochemical content and of the usual content often increases with the size of the portion of the soil mantle investigated. So it is recommended to assess the natural pedo-geochemical value and the usual value at a spatial scale similar to those that it will be used for. For instance, if the natural pedo-geochemical value or the usual value is used to evaluate soil contamination at a local scale, i. e. agricultural plot, contaminated site, watershed, it is necessary to refer to the natural pedo-geochemical value or the usual value that has been determined at the same scale. 1, record 86, English, - usual%20background%20value

As presented here, the background contents are concentrations, e.g. mass of substance for a mass unit of soil. It can be useful to determine the stocks of substances in soil, as a mass of substance for a definite volume or area of soil. To this end, the bulk density of each soil horizon (or layer) and its thickness have to be taken into account. 1, record 86, English, - usual%20background%20value

If a landowner sells a plot of land as a site for a house which, when built, will derive a great part of its value from advantages of prospect or of privacy, the landowner is not precluded from dealing with the rest of his land in such a way as to destroy the view from the house or interfere with its privacy so as materially to diminish its value.(Jowitt's, 2nd ed., 1977, p. 676). 1, record 92, English, - easement%20of%20prospect

[Location Certificates] are normally required by financial institutions with respect to the mortgaging of lands. They indicate the civic address, the relative position of the buildings on the lands to the lot boundaries, rights of way, etc. They serve as evidence to the financial institution that the house is actually on the lands being mortgaged. These plans are not registered in the registry office. Banks and mortgage companies often refer to these certificates as plot plans or survey certificates.(An Introduction to Property Law in the Maritime Provinces, 1981, amended to 1987, p. 51). 1, record 93, English, - certificate%20of%20location

A city of the province of New Brunswick and its capital, located in central New Brunswick, just below the head of tide on Saint John River, 135 km inland from the Bay of Fundy. Acadians and Maliseet had settled around the alluvial plain at this central inland river junction. In 1691, Governor Joseph Robinau de Villebon decided to establish the capital of Acadia at Fort Nashwaak at the mouth of the Nashwaak River, opposite the alluvial plain. But the capital, secure in time of war but too far from the routes of trade in time of peace, was abandoned by 1698. Starting in 1731, Acadian farmers established themselves on the rich soils of the plain at "Sainte-Anne." But they became poor and those still there were swept aside by Pre-Loyalists from New England in 1759. Between 1783 and 1785, Loyalists came from New England States to create a new province and a "haven for the King’s friends" in British North America. They chose the site of what they first referred to as "St. Anne’s Point" for the founding of "Frederick’s Town," named after Prince Frederick, Bishop of Osnaburg and second son of King George III of England, that was to be their capital and the centrepiece of their new society. With the creation of New Brunswick in 1784, "Fredericstown" as it was named in 1785 by Thomas Carleton, became the seat of government. In the following century, "Fredericton," incorporated as a city in 1848, became the capital of the new Canadian province created by the British North America Act in 1867. 2, record 99, English, - Fredericton
