The National Anti-Drug Strategy provides a focused approach involving three action plans to deliver on priorities aimed at reducing the supply of and demand for illicit drugs, as well as addressing the crime associated with illegal drugs. [This] approach will lead to safer and healthier communities by taking action in three priority areas : preventing illicit drug use; treating illicit drug dependency; and combating the production and distribution of illicit drugs.
