In 3D ultrasonography, multiple consecutive two-dimensional B-scan images are utilized to create a 3D block... The probe is held in fixed, trans scleral orientation and serial images are rapidly obtained as the transducer rotates 200 degrees. Software transforms the data into a 3D image that can be sectioned in longitudinal, transverse, oblique and coronal views.

Omnidirectional air data system.... The design uses a swivelling probe for measuring air pressure.... The sensor will supply data to the system's transducer and microprocessor-based electronics unit. A comparison form of non-destructive inspection in which a pulse of ultrasonic energy is induced into the material being tested, and the time required for it to return to the transducer is measured and displayed on a meter or oscilloscope screen. If the probe passes from sound material to material containing a fault, the operator will be able to detect it.
