Buddhism is a transformative teaching that encompasses various systems of philosophy(prajna), meditation(samadhi), and ethics(sila). Although Buddhism is often classified as a major world religion, this classification is disputed by some scholars. This is because a Buddha is not a god, nirvana(the Buddhist goal) is not a heaven, and a Buddha cannot save anyone through religion as there is no soul to save. The major goal is to be free from the cycle of suffering(samsara). 2, record 3, English, - Buddhism

The throat chakra is the 5th chakra and like its name, it is centered in the throat area of the body. The areas it governs are the throat, mouth, ears, thyroid gland, arms and hands. The fifth chakra rules our abilities for communication, creativity, connection and personal intentions. It is also connected with our ability to communicate through hearing, speaking, and listening. It refers to both normal audible communication and the emotional and mental communication we all use in our relationships. It helps us speak the truth from our inner soul as our spiritual voice, as well as to make good decisions and to come up with good ideas. It is also represented by the color blue. 7, record 4, English, - throat%20chakra

The Immaculate Conception is a Catholic dogma that asserts that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was preserved by God from the stain of original sin at the time of her own conception. Specifically, the dogma says she was not afflicted by the lack of sanctifying grace that afflicts humankind, but was instead filled with grace by God, and furthermore lived a life completely free from sin. It is commonly confused with the doctrine of the incarnation and virgin birth, though the two deal with separate subjects. According to the dogma, Mary was conceived by normal biological means, but her soul was acted upon by God(kept "immaculate") in his constitution Ineffabilis Deus, published December 8, 1854. The Catholic Church celebrates the Immaculate Conception on 8 December, exactly nine months before the official birthday of Mary. 1, record 9, English, - Immaculate%20Conception

"The Wall. "It evades easy definition, but to borrow from Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart's famous definition of obscenity, you know it when you see it-or rather, hit it. It usually happens around mile 20, give or take a couple of miles. Your pace slows, sometimes considerably. Some runners say that it feels as though their legs had been filled with lead quail shot... Others can’t feel their feet at all. Thought processes become a little fuzzy... Muscle coordination goes out the window, and self-doubt casts a deep shadow over the soul.... Even if you’re racing at a reasonable pace and you’ve done a good job of carboloading in the days before the marathon, you still have only about 2, 000 calories worth of glycogen stored in the muscles and liver; that's about enough to get you to-surprise!-mile 20. If you manage to deplete your glycogen reserves, say hello to The Wall. 3, record 20, English, - wall

The Indians prepare a hallucinogenic drink, variously known as ayahuasca, caapi, yajé, pindé or natém, from the bark of Banisteriopsis caapi, "the vine of the soul, "a forest liana that tends to grow in charming double helixes.... One effect of ayahuasca is to overstimulate brain functions that depend on the neurotransmitter serotonin, a biochemical process that can become manifest as a hallucination. 3, record 27, English, - ayahuasca

The reception and consumption of the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist or Blessed Sacrament whereby we participate in Christ himself and in his sacrificial work... All those who are baptized and have the requisite intention may receive holy communion; they must be in a state of grace and, normally, fasting from midnight, and fully to profit from the sacrament must have dispositions of charity. The Blessed Sacrament is the ordinary food of the soul. In other words, the congregation receives the host(the bread) and the wine as nourishment for their bodies; this also signifies the spiritual nourishment of their souls. 1, record 32, English, - communion

1, record 32, French, - communion
