The first – and easiest – social media metric to measure is volume... Volume is a great initial indicator of interest. People tend to talk about things they either love or hate... While volume can seem like a simple counting metric, there's more to it than just counting tweets [or] wall posts. It's important to measure the number of messages about your brand, as well as the number of people talking about your brand, and track how both of those numbers change over time. 4, record 3, English, - social%20media%20metric

A technical indicator is a series of data points that are derived by applying a formula to the price data of a security. Price data includes any combination of the open, high, low or close over a period of time. Some indicators may use only the closing prices, while others incorporate volume and open interest into their formulas. The price data is entered into the formula and a data point is produced. For example, the average of 3 closing prices is one data point((41+43+43)/3=42. 33)... A series of data points over a period of time is required to create valid reference points to enable analysis. By creating a time series of data points, a comparison can be made between present and past levels. For analysis purposes, technical indicators are usually shown in a graphical form above or below a security's price chart. Once shown in graphical form, an indicator can then be compared with the corresponding price chart of the security. 2, record 6, English, - technical%20indicator
Record number: 6, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Technical indicators look to predict the future price levels, or simply the general price direction, of a security by looking at past patterns. Examples of common technical indicators include the relative strength index, the money flow index, stochastics, the MACD [moving average convergence divergence] and the bollinger bands. 3, record 6, English, - technical%20indicator

2, record 6, French, - indicateur%20technique

Record number: 9, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Many Web sites... have charts labelled 500 hPa and Thickness. The latter is sometimes called Relative Topography. The thickness, or relative topography, is the difference in heights between the level at which the pressure is 1000 hPa and that at which it is 500 hPa. This difference in height is a measure of the volume of the air between those two levels. Because volume varies with temperature, the thickness of the layer is a good indicator of the average temperature of the layer. 6, record 9, English, - thickness
