Subject field(s)

CONT

Minimax principle. The notion that when a choice must be made among several possible actions, the decision maker should look only at the worst possible consequence of each action and choose the action for which the worst consequence is least injurious. In this manner, he minimizes the maximum harm which can be done to him through his actions. In many cases, this principle would lead to actions which a businessman would reject because they would make him violate good business judgment.

French

Domaine(s)

CONT
