The Government Enterprise Network(or GENet) is a router based network which provides connectivity between those networks that [are] connected to it. Connected networks will include the networks of various government organizations(e. g. departments, agencies, boards and commissions), external networks(e. g. the global Internet, Europanet), and service providers(e. g. GTIS [Government Telecommunications and Informatics Services]).
