Nondestructive testing(NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. Because NDT does not permanently alter the article being inspected, it is a highly-valuable technique that can save both money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research. Common NDT methods include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, and eddy-current testing. NDT is a commonly-used tool in forensic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, systems engineering, medicine, and art. 5, record 1, English, - nondestructive%20testing

The legal system needs forensic engineers to communicate knowledge from one sphere of activity(engineering) to another(law). This is a relatively new and emerging discipline for engineers... The forensic engineer's role in the legal system is to analyze the failure or problem in such a manner so as to permit objective, impartial conclusions to be reached. At bottom, forensic engineering is a science concerned with the relation between engineering and the law. 2, record 2, English, - forensic%20engineering
