The member is responsible for : developing and delivering information sessions for domestic partners and various divisional units; compiling data for the preparation of a thorough assessment of human trafficking into, through and within Canada by the divisional analyst and/or the Human Trafficking National Coordination Centre(HTNCC) Analyst; liaising with domestic and international partners to monitor and report human trafficking investigative and intelligence activities to the HTNCC to ensure coordination of all human trafficking files nationally; developing an inventory of victim protection and resources, and developing protocols for the referral of victims to the appropriate services; researching, analysing and preparing components of the division's corporate business plan, specific to human trafficking initiatives, including environmental scans and the strategic overviews; participating as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) at national and international conferences/workshops and interdepartmental working groups; interacting with media proactively and reactively in relation to human trafficking matters to promote awareness; and implementing a mentoring system in the larger Immigration and Passport Sections to ensure a transition of corporate knowledge. 1, record 1, English, - Human%20Trafficking%20Awareness%20Coordinator

Settlement Assistance and Family Support Services(SAFSS), formerly South Asian Family Support Services, is a non-profit, charitable, multi-service organization providing services to the community in the Greater Toronto Area(GTA) with a particular emphasis on un-served and under-served areas of Scarborough. SAFSS opened its doors in 1989 and was incorporated in March 1990 to serve primarily the victims of domestic abuse. Over the years, this program expanded into one of SAFSS’ core programs, encompassing Violence Against Women and Children and Support Group Counseling for Victims of Abuse and Isolated Afghani Senior Women.
