Foods with a parasitic bacterium, Bdellovibrio Bacteriovorus. The addition of B. bacteriovorus, an obligate parasite of gram-negative bacteria, to meats and meat products reduces the gram-negative population, lengthens the shelf-life, and reduces the risks of food-borne illness. The organism is intended to be applied to the surface of the food, onto food contact surfaces by spraying or dipping, or as part of a sanitizing rinse. It may also be used on uncooked seafoods and whole eggs. High parasitic activity occurs under aerobic conditions, near neutral pH, and at temperatures [greater or equal] to 20°C. Many pathogens are susceptible to attack by the parasitic organism. 1, record 1, English, - parasitic%20bacterium

The fungus causing downy mildew of cabbage also attacks other crucifers, such as cauliflower, collards, Chinese cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, kale, and kohlrabi... The first symptoms of downy mildew are the formation of black specks and yellow-brown spots on the upper leaf surface, accompanied by the development of a fluffy mold growth on the lower surface. Young leaves may fall off when infected, and on older leaves, the spots may coalesce, producing large, sunken, tan spots. The disease can attack young seedlings or plants that have already headed. On older cabbage plants, the disease produces dark, sunken spots, which may appear purplish, on the head or wrapper leaves. 3, record 16, English, - downy%20mildew%20of%20cabbage

Some are enzymes that attack any nearby cells; some activate platelets; some attract other white cells to the site; some can stimulate smooth muscle(thereby causing asthma). The Navy's RIM-7M Sea Sparrow and the Air Force's AIM-7 Sparrow are radar-guided, air-to-air missiles with high explosive warheads. They have a cylindrical body with four wings at mid-body and four tail fins. The Navy uses the Sea Sparrow version aboard ships as a surface-to-air anti-missile defense. The versatile Sparrow has all-weather, all-altitude operational capability and can attack high-performance aircraft and missiles from any direction. It is widely deployed by U. S. and NATO forces. The Sea Sparrow is found aboard many U. S. and NATO surface warships. 2, record 31, English, - Sea%20Sparrow

Record number: 32, Textual support number: 2 OBS
In order to avoid any confusion concerning the sign of electrode potentials, the words "noble" and "base" are often preferred because they are unambiguous. For practical electroplating purposes, "noble metal" is often used as a synonym for "precious metal". In general, a nobler metal provides a better resistance to corrosion and chemical attack than a less noble metal. Nevertheless, it is frequently impossible-owing to several intervening effects, such as the formation of surface oxide layers-to predict the behaviour of a metal against corrosion on the strength of electrode potential alone. 1, record 32, English, - noble%20metal

1, record 32, French, - m%C3%A9tal%20noble
