Record 1, Textual support, English
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
Partial or total vaporization obtained by sudden reduction of pressure. [Definition standardized by ISO.] 7, record 1, English, - flashing
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
It is true of liquids in general that the lower the pressure on them the lower the boiling temperature and the lower the heat contained in the "saturated" liquid. Thus high-temperature liquids when passed from a region of pressure sufficient for stability into a low-pressure region are not able to contain all the heat originally possessed as heat of fluid, and will be spontaneously partially evaporated by the surplus. This violent readjustment to thermal equilibrium is called "flashing"... 8, record 1, English, - flashing

... scientists must determine whether Earth's energy budget is in balance. That is, over the course of a year, does the amount of solar energy entering the climate system equal the total amount of energy that is escaping back into space?... portion of the sunlight that reaches Earth is absorbed into the system, while some of the light is reflected by our planet back into space. Some of the sunlight that gets absorbed is converted to heat and later emitted by the surface and atmosphere back up into space.... Regions of positive net radiation indicate areas of energy surplus in the Earth system(i. e., green regions over the tropics) and areas of negative net radiation signify regions of energy deficit(such as blue regions over high latitudes and the poles). 2, record 2, English, - energy%20deficit

3, record 2, French, - d%C3%A9ficit%20d%27%C3%A9nergie
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT
2, record 2, French, - d%C3%A9ficit%20d%27%C3%A9nergie
