mineral sequence : The order of deposition during formation. A normal sequence is stated to be oxides followed by sulfides and ending with elements, such as gold. Ideal conditions necessary for normal deposition are those which are not subjected to crowding, telescoping, stretching, etc. during the deposition or rejuvenation of mineralizing solutions, effective changes of wall rock along the vein, or any of the similar changes common in ore deposition. 1, record 1, English, - normal%20sequence

1, record 1, French, - succession%20normale

Long-hole blasting. This method of blasting, employing diamond drills or extension steel drills with tungsten carbide bits, is being applied increasingly to ore winning operations where conditions are suitable. The essential requirements from the practical and economic point of view are :(1) a large ore body or wide regular vein;(2) a strong country rock;(3) a good parting between the ore and the rock to avoid undue contamination of the ore. Holes to take up to 2-inch diameter cartridges may be drilled. Since the drilling of long holes is relatively expensive, high-strength, high-density gelatinous explosives are usually employed so that the maximum burden can be placed on each hole. For this reason also, the largest diameter of explosive cartridge that can be loaded into the holes should be used to obtain the greatest possible loading density. 4, record 26, English, - long%2Dhole%20blasting

Raise bore stoping test. A test will be excavated using a series of drilled raise bore holes for primary excavation. A small number of production blast holes may also be used to break the ground between raise holes. This stoping method will be evaluated as a means of narrow vein mining for vertically consistent ore zones. The trial stope will be excavated in early 1995 at the Eagle Point Mine, Rabbit Lake Operation. 1, record 29, English, - trial%20stope
