Dry laid nonwoven fabrics are made from consolidated carded webs. Carding begins with the opening of bales of fibres. Different grades or fibre types are then blended and conveyed to the next stage. There they are combed into a web by a carding machine, which consists of a rotating drum or a series of drums covered with fine wires or teeth. 2, record 1, English, - dry%2Dlaid%20nonwoven
