Funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage, Katimavik is a national youth volunteer service. It allows groups of Canadians aged 17 to 21 who can speak both English and French to experience their country, serve the community, learn to work together as a group, and develop leadership and communication skills. Katimavik participants spend 36 weeks living in groups of 11 and working on community projects in three different locations - two predominantly Anglophone and one predominantly Francophone. 1, record 1, French, - Katimavik
