Oktoberfest is a two-week festival held each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany during late September and early October. It is one of the most famous events in the city and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year. Fête de la bière. Parmi les très nombreuses fêtes de la bière (en allemand Bierfest), la plus connue est celle de Munich (München). La fête de la bière de Munich s'appelle en allemand l'Oktoberfest, c'est-à-dire la fête d'octobre. Elle a lieu chaque année fin septembre début octobre - elle tient son nom du fait qu'elle se termine le 1er week-end d'octobre - à Munich sur un terrain propre qui lui est consacré : la Theresienwiese (la prairie de Thérèse). Les Allemands l'appellent aussi la prairie (die Wiese, ou, en bavarois die Wiesn). Avec six millions de visiteurs, c'est la plus grande fête populaire du monde qui commence par un défilé de plus de huit mille personnes portant le costume traditionnel dont la culotte de peau (Lderhosen) pour les hommes et la robe à manches bouffantes et tablier de couleurs vives (dirndl) pour les femmes. 3, record 1, French, - F%C3%AAte%20de%20la%20bi%C3%A8re
