Quoique générique, le terme français «fièvre des fondeurs» est presque toujours utilisé dans les sources spécialisées unilingues, parce que cette affection, qui est observée chez les fondeurs de laiton, est attribuée par la plupart des auteurs à une intoxication par les vapeurs de zinc.
