The Winnipeg 2005 Host Committee is working directly with the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) to plan all activities related to the event [Juno Awards]. Besides the televised awards show, the festivities include Juno Fest, a live music showcasing local artists, musicians and nominees at local clubs and bars; Juno Fan Fare, the autographing session with Juno nominees; Songwriters circle; and Juno Cup, where NHL Alumni and Canadian musicians face off in a fun, non-contact hockey game.

Le comité organisateur de Winnipeg 2005 travaille en collaboration avec l'Académie canadienne des arts et des sciences de l'enregistrement (CARAS) à la planification de toutes les activités liées à l'événement [les prix Juno]. En plus du gala télévisé de la remise des prix, les festivités comprennent la Juno Fest, un ensemble de concerts donnés par des artistes locaux et des finalistes dans des cabarets et des bars de la région, la Juno Fan Fare, une séance d'autographes en compagnie de finalistes, le Cercle d'auteurs, et la Coupe Juno, qui consiste en une partie de hockey amicale entre des anciens de la LNH et des musiciens canadiens.
