2, record 9, French, - avion%20solaire

... dive flaps or dive brakes ... serve to slow an aircraft in flight. These brakes are used when descending at a steep angle or when approaching the runway for a landing. The brakes themselves are manufactured in many shapes, and their location depends on the design of the aircraft and the purpose of the brakes. The brake panels may be located on certain parts of the fuselage or on the wing surfaces. Brakes on the fuselage are small panels that can be extended into the smooth airflow to create turbulence and drag. Wing-type brakes may be multiple-finger channels extending above and below the wing surfaces to break up smooth airflow. Usually speed brakes are controlled by electrical switches and actuated by hydraulic pressure. 6, record 11, English, - dive%20brake

1, record 15, French, - sortir%20de%20vrille

Performance management consists essentially of calculating the optimum parameters for each phase of flight, such as climb, cruise and descent, and for the flight as a whole, taking into account the characteristics of the aircraft, the flight plan, the known meteorological conditions and so on. The pilot can set the system to achieve minimum consumption, lowest cost or best time. The computations make it possible to predict cost, so that the pilot can propose a change in flight conditions to the FMS and discover what effect it might have on cost if he were to put it into practice. 2, record 17, English, - performance%20management

5, record 20, French, - vol%20stabilis%C3%A9
