Vanguard is PSPC's [Public Services and Procurement Canada] Young Professionals Network for connecting ideas, people, and potential. Vanguard is responsible for supporting its members in the achievement of their career goals by connecting employees with opportunities and tools for professional and personal development, networking, and leadership.

On May 1, 2008, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) launched the National Youth Network. Twelve years and several iterations later it was rebranded as Vanguard: PSPC's Young Professionals Network. It brings together PSPC professionals from across the country and provides them the means with which to plan and take the next steps in their careers.

Douze ans et plusieurs versions plus tard, il a été rebaptisé Avant-Garde : Réseau des jeunes professionnels de SPAC. Il réunit des professionnels de SPAC de partout au pays et leur donne les moyens de planifier et de franchir les prochaines étapes de leur carrière.

Le Réseau des aliments et des matériaux d’avant-garde(AFMNet), un des Réseaux de centres d’excellence du Canada, est une initiative nationale réunissant des chercheurs en biochimie, génie, santé, droit et société qui se penchent sur les aspects novateurs d’aliments et de matériaux, y compris la création de nouveaux nutraceutiques, sur les répercussions qu'a le Règlement sur les produits de santé naturels ainsi que sur la manière dont il est perçu. La collaboration et le réseautage sont essentiels pour l'AFMNet : plus de 100 chercheurs dans 21 universités cherchent à combler les lacunes dans la recherche actuelle et à appuyer la formation de personnel hautement qualifié susceptible de jouer un rôle déterminant dans l'industrie, en milieu universitaire et au gouvernement. De concert avec eux, AFMNet rehausse l'innovation et la compétitivité canadienne.
