Selon un spécialiste de l'Hôpital général de Montréal, il est plutôt rare de voir le qualificatif anglais "rigid" accolé au terme "cerebral palsy". On dit plutôt "spastic", et en français "paralysie cérébrale spastique", terme d’ailleurs proposé par un spécialiste d’un autre hôpital. Dans les cas où une distinction s’impose, toutefois, on peut rendre "rigid cerebral palsy" par le terme ci-dessus.
