Chemically, the air in the bubbles is suspended in the fluid. The foam clings to vertical and horizontal surfaces and flows freely over burning materials. Foam will put out a fire by blanketing it, excluding air and blocking the escape of volatile vapour. Its flowing properties will resist mechanical interruption and reseal the burning material. 9, record 4, English, - extinguishing%20foam

3, record 4, Spanish, - espuma
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 OBS
3, record 4, Spanish, - espuma

A number of parameters are measured by laboratory technicians to ensure that the quality of beer meets the satisfaction of the drinker. Among these parameters is Beer Foam analysis. Foam in a beer is produced once it is poured into a glass in a practical sense. In a laboratory situation, foam is produced in a test tube by the reproducable shaking of a beer sample. Traditionally, laboratory technicians would observe the beer sample and try to determine values for foam potential, the foam half life, and drainage. This procedure would be described as a Foam Assay. 2, record 8, English, - head
