A somatic embryo encapsulated in a polymer that can be sown almost like a natural seed. 2, record 1, English, - artificial%20seed
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Although a natural stage among certain species, somatic embryogenesis essentially is a tool of in vitro culture, used at the moment, on about a hundred species. ... Taking into account the production costs of artificial seed, this technique is appropriate for only a few species. As it was first defined, artificial seed does not yet exist; however one can imagine other uses of somatic embryogenesis in selection programs or in the production of young plants for example. 2, record 1, English, - artificial%20seed

1, record 1, French, - semence%20artificielle
