Even though there is no set policy when it comes to meal charges and meal checking, there is a set structure involved in charging people. This structure begins with the hiring of the meal checker, whose job description reads that they "... must monitor food line at meals in Dining Hall, check students on meal plan and bonafide guests. Receive payments from others. Maintain record of cash sales and turn in cash receipt. Keep count of meals served."
