Dynamics is a term that covers all of the intramolecular motions of proteins. These may be the motions of individual atoms, groups of atoms, or whole sections of the protein. These motions can be divided into three broad categories, characterized by the extent and time scale of the motion and by the method that is used to study it; ... 1) atomic fluctuations, ... 2) collective motions, ... 3) triggered conformational changes....
