An azo dye used as an acid-base indicator; used for titrations involving weak bases.

Methyl orange is an intensely colored compound used in dyeing and printing textiles. It is also known as C. I. Acid Orange 52, C. I. 13025, helianthine B, Orange III, Gold orange, and Tropaeolin D. Chemists use methyl orange as an indicator in the titration of weak bases with strong acids. It changes from red(at pH 3. 1) to orange-yellow(at pH 4. 4).... Methyl orange is synthesized by reaction of sulfanilic acid, sodium nitrite, and dimethylaniline.

Digital Offset Printing(DOP) presses, such as the 74 Karat, incorporate fast, accurate, on-press imaging. Unlike conventional presses where images are transferred to printing plates and then manually transported to the pressroom, images on DOP presses are transmitted as digital files and produced on plates that are already on the press, just before printing starts. This streamlines print shop operations, facilitates content changes at the last possible moment, and allows jobs to be turned around quickly and reliably.

Dye sublimation Printing. When a subliminal [or rather "subliming"] dye is heated, it changes from a solid state into a gas via a process called sublimation. The gaseous dye diffuses in the chemical coating on the paper and reverts to a solid.
