PROBA (Project for On-Board Autonomy) may be tiny in spacecraft terms but this European satellite is paving the way for future missions of global importance. Le satellite scientifique Proba, de l'Agence spatiale européenne, servira à l'observation de la végétation de la Terre. À une altitude de 600 kilomètres, pas plus gros qu'un téléviseur, il pourra reconnaître tout objet d'une grosseur minimale de 25 mètres et en déterminer l'emplacement exact sur le globe avec une marge d'erreur de 200 mètres.  2, fiche 1, Français, - Proba

Because the technology of hypermedia is capable of subsuming all previous media, the wide range of spatial illusions offered by paintings, photographs, perspective systems and dioramas, film, video and sound recordings can now all be represented on the monitor screen. Currently these screens are relatively small, with a typical television screen viewed from across the room occupying only a tiny fraction of our cone of vision. ... From being a small window on to a variety of real world scenes, the television will become an architectural space that we will inhabit.
